hmmm I do that all the time playback from the biginning while it's still recording the end found actually out that's the only time it crashes (well freezes ctrl alt delete the only solution

Interesting.... I had a lock up for the first time last night also. Also playback and recording (different programs) Ctrl-alt-del was the only out.
This was 0.9806 prior to this lock I had no issues.

Funny thing is with windows you sort of yet used to them don't you? I didn't thick all that much of it until I saw this thread.

I will see if the log are still there tonight.

I'm having the same problem now and its happening almost everytime I play a recording or a DVD.

I am running AC3 filter, so I will disable that first to see if it the cause but I've been running it for a while now with no problems.


Also, I looked in the log files and I don't see anything unusual there. I'm not running the absolute latest version but I am running running the release that came out just before it. Think the upgrade would help?

There were some DVD fixes in the most recent release, so it might help.
