You cant use them as is, but considering its a windows media stream, it should be able to create a asx file that contains these streams.

Try to find an example asx file, and see if you can put these URLs in it.

To close the loop - i think this works. I can click on this file and be connected immediatley to the stream. Here is the text of the ASX file. Sub - thanks, can you confirm that this is right?

Can you check if you have <UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio>true</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio> in config.xml? It may be set to false. It needs to be true for this to work.

I have tried this with the following file in the gbpvr\Net Radio folder, but it never shows up in my favorites:

file name: PrairieHomeCompanion.asx
Code:
<ASX version="3.0">
<Entry>
<Title>A Prairie Home Companion</Title>
<AUTHOR>Prairie Home Productions</AUTHOR>
<COPYRIGHT>2006 American Public Media</COPYRIGHT>
<ref href="http://classicalstream2.publicradio.org/classical"/>
</Entry>
</ASX>

If I open the file with vlc, it plays the stream just fine.

It'll only show up on your PC monitor, not on an MVP.

It does not show up on my pc. The only favorites displayed are those in *.pls files.
