I think I've found why this has not worked for the few users that have tried it. Can you try the attached update?

I've now had one user confirm this patch resolved their PVR350 tv out issues.

Did you try the patch? If not, then try it.

The problem is caused by a difference between .net 1.1 and .net 2.0, specifically relating to accessing shared GDI+ objects from different threads. This patch removes the multi-threading previously used updating the PVR350 OSD.

That's it Smile

With the new DLL the OSD and TV-OUT works for my PVR350.

Thanks for your work SUB.

Thanks very much for continuing to fiddle with the 350. I love the output quality, and it's rock solid in my setup. I realize that it will likely totally break sometime, but in the meantime it's fine. I bought it fairly recently on deal when setting up the PVR based on reviews of it re: MythTV etc, but realized later they weren't using the video-out part! GBPVR has been a great find in this regard, when I was searching for PVR software seems to me that your support for it is the best.

Hi,

many thanks again for providing a new patch so fast - it works just like before now.

I still advise you guys consider looking at alternative output devices. In the long run, this device is a dead end in GB-PVR, and is already missing out on tons of cool features added over the last year.

Hi Sub, curiousity, what are we missing out on for example? I mean I use the 350 as a central tvout, and MVPs as individual tvouts. What type of function on a normal tvout do I miss out on?

TV in a small window while you use the rest of GB-PVR, aspect ratio control, visualizations, live preview mode tv (very fast channel changes), DVD playback etc....
