I removed and reinstalled 0.97.07, but it didn't help. I tried the patch mentioned above also, but based on the text in the post I wasn't too optomistic, unfortunately I was right.
On the bright side, with the new dongle.bin my older MVP (Rev D3AM) seems to respond faster. Sub, if you're still keeping tabs, would you recommend trying to go back to v0.96.12? -Brad

Tested patch last night was a no go. Not sure what next to try...

I removed 0.97.07 tonight and went back to 0.96.12. Problem solved. Now both my MVP's (Rev D3AM and H2) are both functioning. I also realized that it's working with the dongle.bin included in 0.96.12 as I didn't get around to copying over the newer one. I'll try that next.

I just installed v0.97.13. Works great with my older MPV (rev D3AM), but the newer unit (rev H2) does the same thing as with 0.97.07. It gets to the "loading application..." screen and locks up. Anybody figure this out yet?

I had it happen again with the new dongle you provided. Seems that ever since 97.07 this has been a problem that is yet to be fixed. The new dongle helped for a little while, but now I am right back to "loading application" hang. And no Tipstir, it hasn't a darn thing to do with my router

system 2 - PVR-150 and HVR-1600
Just for info: With this new dongle you have to select/enter your server ip, right? when you boot it for the first time. If this ip gets appointed to another system in your network, the mvp won't work. I had that happening to me. I now have given the server a fixed ip.

When you say "you" do you mean me? I mean you tried the 25_24023b.bin that H3 users appear to be having success with (and pulled the MVP plug etc...? ) Some folks have just had a "bad cable" or badly seated one ... k.
