Is there somehow I could test the signal strength output by my MB? I tried Googling that info, but couldn't find anything. I'm using an ASUS TUSL2-C MB.

Not easily and you really need to test using an oscilloscope at the end of the cable to get the best results. Maybe the cable has a problem? Can you try the extension cable and mouse on another computer at work or friends for instance?

For what it's worth, I've been able to use two 10' PS2 extenders to use with my PS2 keyboard. The GBPvr box is in a closet behind the TV and I use the 20'+ cable to go around the wall when I need to do something that I can't do from VNC (BIOS, etc).

Do you have a PS/2 mouse? If you do, could you try hooking your mouse up to the 2 extension cables and see if the mouse still functions?

Problem solved... I hacked off 10' from the PS/2 extension cable and the mouse works fine now. Looks like it was a problem with the signal fading over the extra distance. Unless of course there was a fault within the 10' I lopped off, but I doubt that... thanks guys! Cool
