How big is the gbpvr.mdb file?
Did you try deleting the gbpvr.ldb file as I suggested?

I did delete the gbpvr.ldb file and rebooted. I can now open the program, and watch live tv, and the tv guide has the channels but none of the programs listed. All of the recurring recordings are listed, but there are no pending recordings.
I can't find a file named gbpvr.mdb. I do have a file named gbpvr.mdb.original and that is 488KB. The gbpvr application file is 888 KB, and the gbpvr Microsoft Office Access Application is 123,656 KB.

Now if you go into the config app and hit the 'Update EPG' button, it should bring in all the TV listings. Quote:I can't find a file named gbpvr.mdb. I tried the Update EPG but it gave me a new error message.
Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG Source Settings and try again. System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. At least that is a different problem. I hope we're making progress here.

You're back to having that locking error.
I'm starting think your database is corrupt.

Sorry, I dont really know. I've not seen this specific problem before.
If it is a corrupt database, you might need to delete the gbpvr.mdb and set it all up again from scratch,

I uninstalled, and removed any traces of the gbpvr directory from the computer and started over again completely. And.....it works! Thank you so much for taking the time to help me! This really is a great program and I'm so relieved to have have it working again.
