David,

I was able to duplicate the problem on a second pc. I have the patch and I've sent the new logs to sub.

I'll post the results to keep you in the loop.

Ah, I think I've worked out why this happens. I've emailed another patch to you guys. Let me know how you get on.

Just about the time I got home and installed the debugging version, the patch came along. I installed the patch and was able to record a show in dvr-ms. I am currently recording two shows simultaneously in dvr-ms. I have also tested an mpg on my pvr-250. I was able to play the dvr-ms file across the network using WMP and picture and sound looks good. I'll continue to test over the next few days, but this is very encouraging.

Edit: Both recordings finished successfully and play beautifully! Looking very good! Thank you.

With the patch I can record TV now and watch the show as it is recording with dvr functionality (skipping around). But if I hit pause during live TV I get the Object not found error. This is ATSC source.

I have tried with MS-DVR and Cyberlink BDA De-Mux filters.

The logs are attached.

Anyone else seeing this?

Also after canceling a in progress recording, I then return to watching live TV again and then I hit pause I get a dialog box with gbpvr.exe has encountered a user-defined breakpoint. (No log attached for this issue)

Sub. Can you post the Patch. or PM it to me ?

I do expereince the same problem with 97.13. Matter of fact, the only way I can use my ATI HDTV Wonder, which is ATSC, is with 96.12 and DVR-ms.

Thanks.

The patch was posted to the sticky survival guide for 97.13. You should be able to download it from there.

After applying the patch, I am at least able to record with "Transport Stream" as the BDA Multiplexer. No other Multuiplexers works, Cyberlink or DVR-Ms.

Unfortunately, .TS files cannot be played by GBPVR, even though they play fine with VMP 10 and VLC.

I know that at least I can record play back later with another program, but I would like to be able to timeshift live.

Again, this worked fine on 96.12. It broke on 97.07, .09 and now 97.13.

The transport stream option is not intended for end users. Its only for my testing and debugging.

What capture device do you have?

Try doing a recording with the Cyberlink or DVR-MS mux option then post your logs and I'll take a look.
