Sound but no picture recorded?

I just read that the PVR150 MCE card does not come with an MPEG 2 decoder....and I have installed this card on a XP PRO desktop.....so would I be correct in assuming this is why I am not seeing a picture in gbpvr? How can I install an MPEG 2 decoder?

Why do I see a picture when I use Wintv2000?

If you don't have a deocder installed, you can download one from hauppauge's support site. But the fact that you can watch things on wintv2000 makes me think that you already have a decoder installed... The logs would tell us for sure.

I downloaded the new mpeg 2 decoder for Hauppauges website...now my live tv is working.
