It is a widely known issue regarding IE using HTTP 1.1 Extensions and downloading attached ZIP files from forums that use this software.

Meaning it's buggy forum code. Not IE.

There is no need to accuse others of misleading people or blatant lies.

I don't think people lied. But when I see illogical knee-jerk IE bashing, I call it. It's sort of a hobby.

We are here to help each other, not belittle people.

Have a go yourself to see what we are talking about. Use Firefox to view the thread and download the attached ZIP file and it will open just fine for you. I verified this myself before posting.
