Ahhh!!! It seems to have gotten much worse! Its happening every few seconds now. It'll freeze for a few minutes, come back for a few seconds, and then freeze again. Any time I try to view the guide or the config it tells me the "database file is locked"!

Users have occasionally got these 'database locked' errors since v0.97. I'm not really sure why, but I didnt put some additional logging v0.98.13 to help track it down.

Set <LogSQL>true</LogSQL> in config.xml, then reboot. When the problem reoccurs, zip and attach the logs and I'll use this additional info to help find the cause of the problem. Of course it'll probably fix itself after a reboot...

It seems that I messed up while editing config.xml . I'm guessing that it's not okay to edit XML documents in a simple text editor? Either way, I had to delete it and repair my installation and let it create a new config.xml. After that it works fine! No problems whatsoever anymore. I don't know what the problem was or how I fixed it, but thanks for everyone's help.

Its safe to edit it with notepad, but some text editors like wordpad can add garbage to file which breaks.

I thought I used notepad, but its possible that I used wordpad instead. In the future, I'll look out for that. Thanks.

Do you have the conversion processing set to ASAP? I was getting the same thing when I set the conversion to ASAP. I disabled it and everything was fine again.
