Do you mean ML2-panel actually shows up on your gbpvr-main-menu?
I use the default blue skin.
I removed the ML2panel and can't test right now, because gbpvr is increasing the WAF at the moment.Smile

It's annoying, but nothing to worry about.

Ok, I just remembered (well... kind of) I did ask this before.:o
I think EWA really starts gbpvr in some way. It does have a copy of gbpvrrecservice.exe in the EWA-dir.
Thanks again.

Hi Physik,

just loaded up new version,

first thing I have noticed is that if an artist, album or song title has leading spaces these are now significant and show up first on the library screen.

easy for me to fix the couple I had but I'd suggest that when indexing the files you actually delete any leading spaces as presumably you did before.

can you let me know how exactly the noindex.txt file works again as I seem to getting random tracks being played from folders I would have expected to be excluded due to the presence of that file, I seem to remember there was also a noplay.txt file as well but cant remember how it all worked

thanks again for all your efforts

Yes deleting a track from the playlist finally seems to almost work

I say almost because it does indeed correctly delete a track from the playlist without breaking the playlist but after you have deleted a track album art seems to stop being updated

Once again I have only tested this on an MVP

the Last.FM scrobbing seems to be more reliable in this version as well have you made any changes in this area

Just a few remarks on an otherwise excellent plugin:
The random playlist has improved in this version. I have it running for some 12 hours now. I noticed that the random playlist started with 17 songs. However at the end of the list there was not a new list generated, but some 17 songs or so (I did not count) was added to the list. At present I am at song 115/120. This does not bother me, I just noticed.

A second minor thing is the screen saver. After a couple of songs (again I did not yet count how many) the title of the songs are not updated on screen. Also the timings on the screen saver in my setup are not updated from the beginning.

It used to show up on my main menu (after loading gb 98.8 or so) it started appearing, but if you go in the config app and deselect ML2Panel, it should stop showing up.

I think I noticed the spaces a bit more as well - I might make that an option - I prefer to fix the tags - but I could understand people not wanting to do that.

I changed the reading library (again) on version 4.2.

Didn't make any scrobbling changes, although I did make it turn itself off on an error, then if you have fast update turned on (the hourly one) if scrobbling should be on it restarts it. No queuing yet though I tried but couldn't. I'll have another crack at it for another release.

Its kind of the easiest way to just keep adding tracks, rather than restart it all the time, so I probably wont be changing it.

I have seen it after many hours I'll switch to gbpvr from normal tv, and see that the screen saver time is wrong, but haven't seen the tracks been out - is this MVP based or PC?

Whenever something changes I have to try and force the MVP to re-draw so maybe that is being missed...

there seems to be a problem displaying album art in this version.

I have nuked and rebuilt my database and no album art seems to show now

This one I noticed while listening to the MVP. As said it is a minor thing for me. As a matter of fact it might be even better, because I was used to switch the TV of after I had started the music. With the track information displayed I am more tempted to leave it on. Not good for the electricity bill, not good for the environment....

I think it works on the PC - since I do leave my tv on - specially on my 2 hr DJ sets (why I implemented cue file support)

Hi Psycik,

I have a problem with album art with this version.

I thought at first it stopped displaying the art after I deleted a track from the playlist, but that is not the case.

It would now appear that most of the tracks in the database have no album art set, but strangely some do.

In the database what order do the records appear, is it in scan order or are they in alphabetical order.

I have tried nuking the db a couple of times but with out any sucess, the problem remains,

any idea what might be causing it ?

is there any debugging I can do ?
