Brian and Sub, That's exactly what I've been doing. I just tried it again and still no composite input. This is strange. I even tried all three inputs and the 2 S-video inputs to make sure that it wasn't improperly named to one of those.

If the composite input was actually being recognized, I assume that it would be a channel in my program guide, and that I should also be able to select it as a record source. I cannot do either of those things. Like I said, I tried each one of those inputs (Composite, External Tuner, Composite 2, External Tuner, Composite 3 External Tuner, S-Video, External Tuner and S-video 2...

Still nothing. I'm baffled.

I just want to say thanks for sticking with this thread. I know that my descrpitions have been vague, but through your help I have it up and running. I can now access my composite input as well as watch live TV from the same tuner.

Yay!Big Grin

Just out of curiosity - what did you do wrong? Maybe we could update the instructions on the wiki so that they get clearer? It's hard for people who have used this for ages to know what is "hard to understand" for new people trying to set things up... Sad More input from new users means a chance for better instructions Smile
