you could also try using graphedit, they may allow their graph to be connected to, so you can see exactly what codecs are being used

This is the same issue I've been having with mine. The ATI application shows live video perfectly, as did Vista's Media Center. But for some reason, especially if I go to timeshift mode, GB-PVR isn't very watchable.

OK - I FFR'd the drive last night and loaded just the OnAir app, which includes Nvidia decoders, and GBPVR. Now I get really nice video in GBPVR, but no audio. I assume this is a mux issue, but why do I get sound in the OnAir app?

If you play back the recording in a different player, does it have audio? ie, is it a recording or playback problem.

Sorry - I missed that part where I was supposed to test that...Recorded content plays just fine using Win. MP 11, but still no sound in GBPVR (live tv, or recordings). What does that mean? Thanks.

It makes me think its related to a difference in the decoders being used between WMP and GB-PVR. Have you tried the different audio decoders listed in the config app?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gb-vr.exe-native.log and I'll take look.
