The logs dont indicate that it had problems finding the frame rate, but if it did have problems, then it would use the default. You can adjust the default in config.xml: <DefaultFPS>30</DefaultFPS>
While you're on the subject, can I just check what GBPVR's behaviour should be when playing a recording with a comskip file present?
The very first time I watch the recording, the ads are skipped as expected. Then if I exit and watch it again (using Resume or otherwise) the ads don't get skipped. The same happens on subsequent viewings, except for a random couple of occasions when it started skipping them again!
Is there some rule about when it skips ads? (Or some kind of key/remote press that controls it?)

I believe that's supposed to happen. The ads are only skipped the first time.

I have the same problem...it all started when I upgraded to 98.13. I'll look at the comskip file and do some more diagnostics. Even on old recordings before I upgraded comskip is "wrong".
I have noticed that the beginning commercials are correct, but the later ones are off by just about a whole segment of commercials and getting worse as time goes on. Now that I think about it, it might be the frame rate that you are mentioning. I'll give it a go when I get home.
I just wanted to chime in...
UPDATE: I just changed FPS to 30 and it now works properly. Sub, is this a new field for 98.13?
