Hi Sub,

I installed Cyberlink PowerDVD and set GBPVR to use its decoders, unfortunatly I get the same problem, out of curiosity, I downloaded and installed Mediaportal, that seems to have similar problems, so I'm guessing its something other than a GBPVR problem, but not sure what! Its weird, because I can use MythTV on Linux to watch tv with no problems, so must be down to something on Windows! Think I'll go back to Linux and Myth, just need to get my wireless USB stick working with it! (Which is why I went down the Windows/GBPVR route in the first place!)

Cheers,
sub

Yeah, if its locking up the PC, then it is most likely either driver problem, which may stem from an incompatibility between some other software or hardware in your machine.

Ok, good luck with that.

Yeah, most people fare much better than you did, but with the millions of combinations of hardware and software out there, some people will have problems.

Its a shame because I liked the look of GBPVR, and my wireless worked fine on Windows!! Sad

Oh well, thanks for the help any way Sub, I'm off to try hacking Linux again!!

just going back to your original post:
have you tried it with just one tuner fitted?
does it work fine using hauppauge wintv?
also maybe follow up your hunch about low memory - you could buy another 256m off ebay quite cheeply...
