Everything looks fine in those logs, but the device never manages to lock onto a signal.

Are you sure you entered the right LNB settings?

Have you seen the device working in any other software?

Hi Sub - thanks again for the help....

The device is working fine in both ProgDVB and DVBDream.... the LNB is a Circular with a LOF of 10725 (this might be different to other lnbs?) but i inserted that into the gbpvr settings and set the other two values to 0 (this is how it is done in the other apps...)

Sorry, I dont really have any suggestions. I'm not sure why it's not locking onto a signal.

Well, thanks a lot Sub for trying!

I was trying to see if it would give me an error when trying to scan with DVBDream already running - and it didn't! What's more, for every frequecy it tried to test, it reported the signal and quality strength of the channel that I was watching in DVBDream!

So it was picking up the intesity levels correctly (as in what the device was recieving) but not telling it what to do correctly Undecided

By setting lof1 and lof2 to 10750, I might be making progress. It is registering the signal strength of the transponders correctly (altohugh it says "signal=0 quality=100", when i think it should be "signal=100 quality=0") But I've read a post by Sub somewhere else that says differenct DVB hardware gives different results for the quality indicator.

However, it is no picking up any channels even though it finds a signal on the frequencies - any ideas for what to try next?

Do a scan then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I should add that when it scans a frequency, both signal and quality=0 for the first second or two, then quality goes up to 100. Is it running out of time to scan before trying the next frequency - is there a way to change how long it scans a frequency for?

Just following on from the other post - I have noticed that it takes a little while to scan a transponder..... far more time than it seems to spend on a frequency in the gbpvr setup. Tuning along takes about 1-2 seconds, before the scan starts.

In those logs it looks like it locks a few frequencies but never manages to find any channels.

Try creating a c:\temp directory, then create the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPSIProcessing=2 (DWORD)

Then do another scan, then zip and attach the c:\temp\psi.log file that gets created.
