This is a good idea. I will try it tonight when I get home. Just a couple of questions though:

* Does this Titan interface allow recurring recordings?
* When I do manual recordings on GBPVR, do all the recordings go into a folder named "manual recordings"? When scheduled through GBPVR's "traditional" interface, the recordings are stored in separate folders named with the show's name; I kinda like this feature.

Unfortunately it does not.....just one recording at a time.

Yes.....since it is using the standard GBPVR API the recordings scheduled this way should act as any other manual recording scheduled via GBPVR itself or via the Enhanced Web Admin or this new TitanTv Remote Scheduling option.

Thanks for this! This has been helpful for me because I wiped my EPG clean before I knew zap2it was having problems.

Any idea why all the regular cable channels will schedule, but not the digital ones?

Need little more info on your problem......what exactly do you mean by regular cable channels vs. digital ones?

I have Comcast and have my guide on TitanTv listing set to Digital Cable and I can schedule all channels.

If you mean OTA digital, I think it's because the guide sends the RF channel number. For example, my local digital PBS channel is 8.1 but it's on RF channel 29. The guide sends 29 and that's what GB-PVR will use but it's likely that 8.1 not channel 29 for GB-PVR. Look in the Channels tab of GB-PVR config and see what channel numbers it's using for your OTA digital channels. Those are what need to be used. For me, I don't have a 29 in my cable lineup so I changed my PBS 8.1 channel to be 29 in the Channels tab so it'll record it OK. However, it'll only handle the sub-channel that's mapped to it by the BDA channel mapper, for me that's only 8.1 which works for me but YMMV. Does this make any sense?

If you mean your digital cable, I don't know what the problem could be since it also works OK for me. Be sure you're using the correct lineup.

Okay... let me try to explain. I have the correct guide, Comast digital. All the channels show up on Titan. If I remote schedule something up to, say channel 70, it will show up in GBPVR's manual recordings. If I remote schedule something on 301 it won't show up in GBPVR.

I tried a bunch of times and it's the same issue. I even closed the program, tried again, etc.

By the way, thanks again for this!

That is becuase (at least hear in PA) 70 (or there abouts) is the last analog channel that is broadcast by Comcast.....IF you are using a PVR150, 250 or 350 they can only recieve analog signals. 301 would definatly be a non-analog channel.

What tunner card(s) are you using?

I'm using a 150, so I guess that makes sense. But how come when I've tried Titan with that Hauppauge scheduler, it did the digital channels (at least to my recognition... i've been using gbpvr for 3 years or so now!)

In any event, your hard work is much much appreciated.

As digital TV infiltrated Comcast in the early days they broadcast both analog and digital at the same time....as channel numbers increased they had to cut back on the dual broadcasting so they stopped broadcasting the analog simulcast......I am guessing this is why it worked a few years back.....

Edit: Also.....the PVR150 only has a tunner capable of going up to channel 125.
