hehe - didnt want to stir the pot stustunz - the only reason i found and replied to this thread was cause i was hunting for another one about 1.0.8 menu animations - and sub told me psycik had found a fix for it - so i thought argh what the hell - also ive heard of other people having similar issues to what i had when using the frequency numbers versus the channel numbers

if you read it back it seems he hasnt used the tuning assistant
and if he has puting in new number isnt going to give him a better picture
everytime i use the assistant it finds the stations
im just wondering if his signal is weak
i know up here tv3 has a weaker signal than c4 go figure
and prime isnt very stronge either but i cant coment on whats its like down thier

sorry its just i have told you and so has someone else but you have either miss understood or just note answered in a way that it seems you know what we were refering to

Yeah I saw your note the first time I think, and just then again. Forgot to reply though.

In the first instance I would have used the tuning assistant, but for some reason i remember it didn't work when I tried it lately...just found nothing which is crap since I record stuff and it's there.

Since it was TelstraCable I figured all the channel frequencies would be the same all over (at least all over Wellington).

I need to figure out the spaghetti mess I have behind my tv and figure out where the tv signal is coming from aerial, or telstra.

But as I said I'd been lazy, and since I don't use 3 much I never noticed before.

yeah thats why im going to get my cable channel numbers and see if they help - cause telstra force the FTA and Encrypted channels over the same network that provides us with cable internet - and ALL of my channels are crystal clear....

here are those channel numbers - so just replace an freq's that youve used before and this should do the trick - i found that tv1 and c4 were dodgy but after changing my feed and using these i get crystal clear reception.

tv1 - 36
tv2 - 38
tv3 - 41
prime - 72
c4 - 80
maori television - 204
