Cheers. [Image: biggrin.gif]

Channel changing is a bit slow at the moment...work in progress and all that. I'm sure I'll manage to improve the speed in coming releases.

About the UpdateEPG.bat I am unclear.
For the EPG I need 2 things.
1. obtaining xml data, that is not a problem, but can I place the command to retrieve it from the internet in the UpdateEPG.bat?
2. then automatically the existing listings.xml will be imported into GBPVR?

Will it first run UpdateEPG.bat at 0300? Or how can I make a task that first get the xml data from the internet and then puts the epg data into GBPVR?

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (sub @ Jan. 19 2004,06:39)]You can get the remote going by pasting the following into irremote.ini:

[GB-PVR]
0=0
...
This fixed my remote issue,(in Rel 009, still)

does rel. 010 resolve any issues with the dirve/partition issue in conjunction with LiveTV?
go for it

UpdateEPG.bat will be run, if it exists, prior to importing the XMLTV listings from the previously defined XMLTV file. You'll only need put something in this file if you want something to happen prior to the update. An example might be running you XMLTV grabber so that the xml file is upto date and you dont need another separate scheduler.

This will all happen sometime between 3:00am and 4:00am.

v0.10 still has the dependency on c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr. The next release v0.11 removes this dependency.

Sub,
I am having problems with LiveTV. It runs fine for about 1 min and then stops. I have tried Hauppauge, Elecard and default codecs. Same symptoms. Default codec seems to be Elecard, correct? Seems to be a LiveTV problem. Playing a something out of the Library works fine. Do you want me to try something?

In the recordings directory, is one of the LiveTV-x.mpg files still getting bigger?

If you're using the Direct Recording plugin, you might want to switch and the WinTVCap. If it also stops, it might be work looking the WinTVCap log which will hopefully give clues as to what has gone wrong. Once the recording has started, GB-PVR has no interation with it until stop is requested. This only happens when you change channels or click stop/menu. Theres not much that can go wrong in GB-PVR that can cause the recording to stop prematurely.

I used to have something like this occur when I had an IRQ conflict with the motherboard's on-board soundblaster audio. Can you make long recordings with other programs?
