Black or Grey screen in LiveTV.

Here the logs that came:
1. Started config and pushed ok.
2. Started PVRX2 and then LiveTV (black screen)
3. Video library and watched some recording for 2 seconds.
4. Back in LiveTV and it works.

Sorry, I cant see anything obvious in there. If I had to guess, I'd say either the PVR500 is not producing data from some reason, or the video decoder is somehow the cause. Have you tried other decoders?

Hmmm.
It worked before with the same PowerDVD decoder. So maybe something else thats the problem? An where can I find other decoder that is good?

But ok, I must say that the "waves" problem I had before is gone now. Picture is perfect clear now, I didn't even noticed that, so thats good.

I wouldnt make the assumption that its not cause just because you think it worked in the past.

A free decent decoder you could try can be forund at http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm. It may not help, but definitely worth checking.

Ok it seems that the MPV Decoder did the trick with the black screen issue.
But.
When wtaching LiveTV it uses Tuner2, when I start recording it goes over to Tuner1 and it takes over the recording.
Then if I want to watch another channel the Tuner2 shows the channel name but i get black screen, if I change channel while in black screen (still tuner2 while Tuner1 records) nothing happens.
Then when I watch the piece recorded from tuner1 it seems that it recorded me changing the channel (what i did in LiveTV tuner2), really strange.

Sorry, I dont know. Maybe something funny with the 8800 drivers.

Doh doh doh doh and again doh!!!
I really made a Homer here.
The "Board Number" on both tuners was set somehow at same Capture Device#1.
Now im gonna try if PowerDVD decoder was working ok and made troubles because of this.
