using gbpvr with patch and get the same EPG update error. apparently the epg update hasnt been working for a week or so since I signed up at schedules direct. my error message is almost identical to the first one posted in this thread.

thats from this morning. uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch results in the same error. also recreated my lineup at schedules direct.

tried using xmltv that supposedly has been updated for schedules direct and it fails as well. looks like I am screwed for now ;-)

Sub,

FYI, the bad HTML entity problem has returned for me, too. My nightly guide update failed, as did a forced update a few minutes ago. Errors are similar to those I had initially reported. It looks like the underlying problem hasn't been fixed.

They best thing you guys can do is post the info on the Schedules Direct website so they can harass TMS to fix the data.

I can see at least three threads on the Schedules Direct forum this morning indicating the same problem.

You can run the YA-whatever tool to scrape one of the online guides, then use the XMLTV file import feature of config to take care of you for a couple weeks.

They should sort this out pretty quickly, and the wonderful stand-alone tools mean that no matter what we can get a couple weeks schedule, even if it takes a couple mouse clicks.

Im not the only one. It feels so lonely when no one else reports the same issue Big Grin

Im using titantv remote scheduling right now. I will post my findings over in the schedules direct forums though Im not sure Im technically inclined enough to even describe whats wrong other than "gbpvr" doesnt work with schedules direct. I know thats not accurate, but how else can I put it ?

your xml is teh broked ?

5pm Pacific... Got a callback from Tribune, they have isolated and fixed the problem. All should be ok now.
