Hi jk, cheers for finding this - I'm a bit p!$$ed at this to tell the truth. It seems like such an odd error. Scart should just work! Can't believe I've got to ditch GBPVR just when its working so nice: upgraded TV and powerline for the network connection running rock solid. HD upscaled images only .... they're greeen!!!! F*ck me - technology takes the f*cking p!$$ sometimes, you know?

Cheers.

Many TVs have the scart-inputs configurable.
have you checked if your tv's input is configured for "composite" input and not "s-video"?
You could try switching that around.

It does have seperate color channels.
For those interested, here is a wire diagram for scart

I've had a look through the menus but can't find anything. I'll try a forum for a thread on that tv,

Cheers.

The problem is caused by the fact that the MediaMVP is sending out the Sync signal on Green and your TV is not correctly responding to this. Normaly the sync signal is on the SVCB pin. My Pioneer plasma doest not have a problem with this neither my Philips LCD but a lot of other brands don't accept this and get this geen color.
Solution is to use s-video or composite only. You can force the MediaMVP not to use RGB by removing/disconnecting pin 16. That should solve your problem.

I've got the same problem and I understand that cutting PIN 16 will give me a well coloured image, but less quality because composite instead of RGB. If the television is expecting a certain signal on a different pin than where the MVP puts it, isn't is a solution to adjust the cable so that this signal is routed to the right pin on the TV's end?
