Sub,

Took all of your advice and installed vcredist_x86 and .net 2.0. Some of the logs were updated and I have attached them for your viewing pleasure. I don't know what is going on now, so please help. Last thing I need to be doing is reinstalling Windows 2k pro and GBPVR too! Thanks for any help and advice you can give!

I think you've damaged your config.xml file while trying to edit it.

Delete your config.xml, and replace it with a copy of config-master.dont-edit-me.xml

That did it. One of the updates must have screwed up the .xml file or how the .net 2.0 integrated with the config.xml file. Thank you for all of your help!

You get this exact same error if you edit config.xml with wordpad instead of a text based editor like notepad.exe, and I'm sure thats the cause here. It would have happened when you tried to enable log flushing.

Installing .net 2.0 would be what fixed your original problem.
