netradio doesn't work for me after installing 1.2.9. It days trying http://xxx, and then when I change the menu selection it switches to buffering... but nothing ever happens. Should it work on 1.2.9?

Any plans on FM radio support?

You might need to run reregisterfilters.bat. If that doesnt work, post your logs and I'll take a look.

It'll probably make a return. I havnt really spent much time doing anything with analog cards over the last year. Primary focus has been digital.

My log files attached ... looks like MPEG-1 Stream Splitter is missing, I have no idea who should install that.

Yeah, that looks like the cause of the problem. I'm not really sure what to suggest to fix this. This is a Window's component usually present on every machine.

It lives in quartz.dll, but I dont know if I'd been keen try doing a "regsvr32 /u quartz.dll" followed by "regsvr32 quartz.dll". I've never done this before. It might break more than it fixes.

I did regsvr32 /u quartz.dll and got a failure code. Looked that up, it means the DLL wasn't registered. Don't know how this happened! Did regsvr32 quartz.dll, it registered, now Net radio works!

Great.

If quartz.dll wasnt registered then a whole lot of other directshow stuff would be broken.

How can I tell what is broken, and how to fix it? I haven't noticed any problems in playing videos of various format, or any other uses of the HTPC.

Registering quartz.dll should have fixed numerous things. This DLL contains a large number microsoft directshow filters. If this wasnt registered on your machine before, then its likely several things wouldnt have worked correctly before you registered it.

I had the same problem with PVRX2.exe, but my quartz.dll was fine. After looking at the logs, I discovered the problem. C:\Temp must exist! If you don't have that folder, you must create it. I hope future versions will use %TEMP% instead of C:\Temp.
