Right on the money!

When adding the MAC-settings to the config file i reverted back to the "original config" to be sure that I hadn't changed anything else. That must have set the autostart number to '0'. Changed it to '1' and now it works perfectly!

Well, it's almost always the most simple of things...

Good news, Stylus I'm sure you will appreciate the 720p. You probably will find it's not perfect after you play media though. There isn't a full screen refresh so you will need it hit the source button to get a new screen. No doubt sub will have a fix for that soon.

Hi there, it's me again...

I have another problem, a rather important one;
everything is looking great except I'm not able to play any video files, pictures and etc. works just fine, but when pressing ok/enter on a video file, it crashes.
Attaching the logs (very short). Video name is 'Spain_06.avi' - xvid file wich plays just fine in gaya.

You need to have the web server and NMT streaming enabled on the 'misc2' tab of the config app. Do you have these enabled?

I noticed a couple of things first you might have MVP Minimal OSD Turned off and this would cause problems because the client doesn't understand the alpha channel updates.

Additionally you should add two more setting to your config.xml file

<MVPTranscodeTS>false</MVPTranscodeTS>
<MVPTranscodeAVI>false</MVPTranscodeAVI>

That shouldn't cause a crash but will ease the burden on your server.

Sub, for future reference (since I forget and do it all the time) this doesn't cause a crash but mono has a thirty second timeout which can't be avoided.

I turned off MVP Minimal OSD just to see if it made a difference, one has to try a lot of things before bothering you guys...

Just tried;
<MVPTranscodeTS>false</MVPTranscodeTS>
<MVPTranscodeAVI>false</MVPTranscodeAVI>
and that was the problem.

Now it plays just fine, I just noticed in a log that it said "Waiting for transcoding to begin" a bunch of times and then tried to play a tmp mpg file, so that was the problem.

For me it's no bother. However I'm thinking the missing tmp files concern me, you might also have other problems if you don't have a c:\temp folder which is defined by default for the Recording and LiveTV buffer directories.

Glad to hear that.
Nope, no c:\temp folder. So if i understand correctly the missing transcoding tags under 'MAC' should not matter (just play files quicker), but since i don't have a temp file it just tried and tried and tried to transcode into a non existing folder.
Well, no wonder it helped to add the transcoding tags then...
Changing temp folder in config right now..
