Installed 1.2.9, HVR-1600 digital tuner stopped working

It's neither of those. I installed XP dualboot. If I scan for digital channels in XP, I can pick them up fine. If I scan in Vista (which used to work), I get nothing.
So I guess a warning to everyone considering buying a HVR-1600. Your digital tuner can stop finding channels for some unknown reason and the only way to fix it is an OS reinstall.

To fair, I think this is only occurrance that I've heard of for this specific problem. The HVR1600 is still one of the better choices for capture card.
