Thanks for taking a look. As requested, I have attached the Config-native log associated with the scan.

TIA

Unfortunately, as you suspected, this device isnt locking onto any channels. I possible this devices requires something different to be done for QAM support.

Any Suggestions on where to start for the developmentally challenged? Wink

I saw another post on the ATI 650, where the user was trying to tune QAM as well. And I found a success story, but this was for SageTV. So there must be a way to do this, I just wish I knew where to begin.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Sorry, I'm not really sure what to suggest. I dont have any contacts at AVerMedia, so no one to really ask.

Just picked up an A180 (did not know GB-PVR didn't have QAM working with it). Looks like QAM works with SageTV and has native support in Linux. What do you need me to do to help you get it working? How did you get it working for the A780?

Sorry, I dont really have any advice for you. GB-PVR only supports QAM on the HDHomeRun, OnAirGT, Vixs and Hauppauge devices. The only other QAM devices that will work are those that happen to implement their QAM support in the same way as one of these. Quite a few other devices, like the A780 and some of the dvico devices etc did implement their support enough like the Hauppauge device that they just work - owners of other devices are probably out of luck.

Gotcha. For what it is worth, it looks like the DVB drivers in the Linux kernel have native support for the A180 with QAM.
