I merely thought the telnet thing was for debugging. So each time PCH is power cycled - telnetd has to be started. It is really quick to do so if not sure, always start it if. It is already running you will get a mkdir error message that you can safely ignore.
Starting of Telnetd gives "started on port 23...."
Any suggestions?

Another thing that can catch you is that the config.xml has to have a section for the NMT in "MVP" style. And that section needs to have a MAC adress that corresponds with the MAC adress of your PCH.
A final thing I can think of is that the share that PCH needs to have read access to the share with your mvpmx2 stuff. But if you can start telnet I suppose you have the same access right on every file.
I had this problem another share, not bg-pvr related that I was running off the PCH internal interface. Some of the AVI files would not play - I finally found out that access right was turned off for those files.
