Post back if you find there are settings in the hauppauge blaster software to control your converter box. Which box did you get? $$?

I have the Insignia from BestBuy working. I believe the Zenith from Radio Shack is the same thing.

Thanks for the info. I was running out of time on my cards before they expired.

I also just setup my insignia this week. Works awesome! The only real catch was getting the IRBlaster to work with the box. I found that setting your IRBlaster to 134 will work your insignia. Also, make sure you disable the auto power off or your box won't be up to send a signal to your capture card...

I have another question about this... I am wanting to buy another converter (STB) and get another 1600 capture card. Can I run 2 1600's with 2 IRBlasters communicating to 2 separate STB's? I know I can use the astc port, but then I wont be able to use the video on my MVP. Thanks!

I don't think that worked with the 150 not sure about the 1600.

crap... i am having a dickens of a time finding the IR code for the RCA DTA800 converter box. I've tested all the way through multiple times. Am I going to have to manually type in the numbers it seems to skip over? Ugh.

Does the Insignia work with the PVR150? Can anyone confirm this?

Ok, I bought the Insignia and can't get the IR Blaster to control the box using code 134.

You will probably need the latest blaster software from Hauppauge since it has to be upgraded for any new codes.
(disclaimer: I don't use a blaster myself)
Since Insignia is a "House Brand", there is no guarantee that they will all come from the same vendor.
