Frank,

good work. However, I still get "The 'recordings' path in GBPVR config doesn't exist...You MUST fix this".
But I can't fix it myself, because it does exist - here:
<RecordingsDirectory>C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\MyUsername\Eigene Dateien\Eigene Videos\Record</RecordingsDirectory>

Can you take another look?

I would strongly suggest getting your recordings out of the documents and settings folder.

I create a folder on the root directory 'TV' and then subfolders like 'Live' and 'Recorded' Point to those folders in GB-PVR config

It's interesting. In the last few years, I learned this from what seemed to be the most common setup on the GB-PVR forum.

On another PVR setup, I have a separate drive as the Recordings drive, and I haven't run into this issue because it isn't in the Documents and Settings folder...

Edit: I still suggest the above, but I recognize that a fix was in order, as noted below...

OK. I changed it so that ZProcess will Halt completely if it finds an invalid directory.

It will look up the latest setting in the GB-PVR config for what should be a valid directory. If it still doesn't find a valid directory it will halt altogether and you will need to to fix that in the GB-PVR config. If it does find a valid folder, it resets some settings, and continues

I see now where it was going wrong. Thanks for catching this...

I have to disagree with this recommendation being made with such emphasize. If anything from the point of view of standards this practice is probably the better way to do this.

I bolded the statement so that it would be seen.

I guess it's a matter of opinion.

Either way, I believe I have fixed the program to work regardless

Hi,
I also have this error "76 Path not found"
I downloaded the zip posted above, now it halts instead of taking CPU in background, but still the same message.
I checked in the registry that the path of gbpvr install is correct.
In the XML I have
<RecordingsDirectory>E:\Temp\GBPVR</RecordingsDirectory>
which exists
I tested with C;\Temp, still the same error.
The log gives:

2008-08-16 15:02:02 : ***************************************
2008-08-16 15:02:02 : 'ZProcess starts'.

And that's all...

Will it start manually?

You mean launching ZProcess2.exe? Actually that's what gives me that message.

I wonder if it's a language thing... Are you using English or able to try it in English?

Also, Where is your gbpvr directory?

Edit: What do the paths look like in the address bar of explorer for both languages?

I have an English XP SP3 with Belgian-French regional settings (but still English XP then).
GBPVR is installed in F:\Multimedia\GBPVR (which is the path specified in the registry).
Right now I tested making a hardlink to C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR and start it from there: now it starts without error message but no window appears. But the process is launched and uses half of CPU time continuously.
