Ah, you're trying to use this as an analog device. The HVR-900's analog side is not usable in GB-PVR since this device lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

You can use it for digital DVB-T channels though.

So does that mean i can't get any normal channels working through the Hvr-900? Or only digital ones? so not just my normal cable channels?

Correct, you'll only be able to get DVB-T digital channels with this particular device on GB-PVR.

Common cards like the Hauppauge PVR150 work well for analog. If you need analog and digital, then look at options like the HVR1300 or HVR2200.
