I was one of those who had to wait 6 weeks for the card to arrive. Yes I installed WinTV to confirm that the analog channels work.

Watching using WinTV is horrible compared to GBPVR. Like going back to the stone age.

Any luck with getting this card fully working? Just waiting to get some confirmation that both the digital and analogue on this card works in GBPVR before getting one and retiring the PVR350.
Regards,
Hasso

Only could get DVB-T tuner working with GBPVR. Note however that I can't get teletext subtitles with my DVB-T recordings.

Waiting for sub to get back from his holiday to have a look on the analog side. In the meantime I've reverted back to my old PVR150 for analog.

hasso, are you using Vista 64 or 32-bit and GBPVR? If its 32-bit just wondering how you use the 4GB of memory.

OK... think I'll just wait.

I use 32 bit, so although I've got 4 Gigs, only 3 Gigs show and are used. I've heard of someone who managed to use the remaining 1 gig for a ramdisk (for timeshifting of TV programs) but never looked into how he did it.

Hasso

Hi sub. I can setup a capture device now and view analog. Quality is really bad - snowy picture compared to the PVR150.

Still no picture with Tuning Assistant so I'm assuming the same channels as the PVR150. I'm using Channel 316 for Prime.

On the couple of channels I was able to check it seemed to be about the same as other cards, but then I dont get great reception of any analog channels these days so I'm not good person to give any feedback on the quality of the HVR2200 analog side.

Either way, there isnt really anything the app can tweak that can affect this. Its more likely something to do with the tuner hardware or possibly the drivers.

Yeah, its not going to work in the Tuning Assistant at this stage. I'll probably fix that for the next release though.

hmmm, would a variation of this work on a HVR-1300? A very similar card, but older generation.

You dont need any patch for analog on the HVR1300. Analog has always worked on that device.
