gbpvr not working

I finally set up my epg and the channels are listed, but the pvr still doesn't work. What about the video renderers? What should all that be set at?

Thats a pretty weak description. Give us a more detailed description of what you're trying to, and what happens. Also post the logs.

Pretty much the same thing happens that has happened from the start. When I open gbpvr I get the blue screen with all the options but I can't watch tv. The previous posters have told me it was because I didn't set up my epg source but I think I have done that now but it hasn't helped.

You've configured it to use a "Hauppauge HD-PVR" device, but failing when it tries to use this device since you dont have one. You needed to setup a capture source for the correct type of device ('Digital Recording Plugin' -> "Hauppauge HVR-1600').

Well, I got the tv to work by changing from digital to analog recording plugin. The only thing that doesn't work now is the settings menu. It starts to come up and then stops. Also can't you use the remote control with this software?

This is a bug in the current release. If you create an empty 'skin' subdirectory in the gbpvr directory then it'll start working.

Also can't you use the remote control with this software?

If you're using the HVR1600 retail device, then you should just need to click the 'fix hauppauge remote settings' button.

I know I sound somewhat ignorant, but once I started this I kind of wanted to finish it. I am no computer expert at all, but I have built a number of computers and figured I should be able to do this. But this whole pvr area is unfamiliar to me. thanks for the help.
