You havnt setup your EPG in your capture source.

I am a little confused. I deleted everything in the EPG and manually added channel 3. If I run the EPG setup again it will populate with channel and program information that will not match. My EPG will say "My Name is Earl on NBC channel 11 at 8:00pm Thursday" but everything will be on channel 3. GBPVR is not capable of changing the channel on the cable box, is it? What am I missing?

Yes, GB-PVR is capable of change the channel on the cable box, but you need to have a IR Blaster (MCE or USB-UIRT are the most common).

No luck yet. I have Emptied and Updated the EPG several times. When I look at the xml file I see all the new information but I am getting nothing in the TV Listings or from Live TV. I did notice that the "enabled" check box is off for all stations. Should it be? Even when I select a channel click OK and come back the check is gone and no stations are selected.

Reproduce this, then ok out of the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

The other log has some "failed to locate filter" messages.

Since you're receiving channels from a set top box, this means you need to be using an analog capture source. I'm pretty sure you've tried to setup a digital capture source instead?

OK. I thought since the cable company said they were going all digital I would be getting a digital signal but it makes sense it is converted by the set top box.

I have picure, sound, tv guide and a usbirt on order. I am starting the research on how to setup the usbirt but as you can tell even the simplest of tasks I seem to make difficult. Hopefully, you will not have to lead me by the nose but just in case, look for me again next week. Thanks!
