Installed Vista last nite,
After some fumbling around with nav and security crap
all is working well, smooth as silk with MVP
EXCEPT Vista won't recognize my Homeseer plugin.
Always something!
Anyone know of a fix?
Is there a compatible dll for vista, been reading all morning can't find anything

Well I just discovered I can't pause live tv anymore,
GB just crashes, apparently theres a bug in vistas dvr-ms.
Can anyone suggest a good multiplexer?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I started GB
Went to tv guide, selected ch11
hit the pause button,
Vista shut it down

I originally had a folder set up on C
called recorded shows, but after reading a couple of posts
I set a temp folder up, and reconfig to point to them.

Checked folder after crash and it did record something

Can you pause again, but this time post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log files.

How big was the .dvr-ms file that gets created?

After my post I looked in the folder and there is a recording,
that plays.
Let me back up here, when I hit the pause button, I get the windows-
close the program, debug the program, check the internet for possible solutions. I hit close.
If I start GB back up I can't go live because its still recording,
I must restart service to go back live.
Does that help?

Tell you what next time I crash it I will get the windows error
