You dont need the Tuning Assistant. Ignore that.

Try using live tv, then post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files.

Hmm .. I changed one parameter setting in the device config -> Recording Source -> Source .. to "Internal Tuner" .. it was setted to Fixed Channel, external Tuner before ..

now I get a very bad video signal that is flickering - without audio.

The TunerAssistent was showing a good video signal

You tell it the channels you have available when you setup your EPG (ie channels listed in xmltv file). You have to then make sure you've got the rf correct channel number next to each channel you receiver. If you dont know these channel numbers, you can use the TuningAssistant to help you find them. You'd then have to manually enter those channel numbers. The Tuning Assistant does nothing more than show you what rf channels your broadcaster is transmitting on. Running it doesnt change any GB-PVR settings or configuration.

That is what I've done .. I used the TuningAssistent to check the channel-numbers wich I had have to add to the channel-configuration for the analog capture device.

But in the TuningAssistent the video-signal was very fine .. in Live-TV the signal is very bad - flickering - and without colors ..

Does it help if you switch your audio renderer back to the original 'system default' option?

Also try editing the direct.ini file and set "ForceStandard=16" at the top of the file.

At the moment I destroyed my GB-PVR installation - due experimenting ..

I tried a repair-installation but it fails - then I tried a reinstallation - but this fails too - now its not possible to install with the MSI, because the MSI-Installer rollbacks the installation before finishing .. (after register keys to registry - nearly the end) ..

I hate me .. arghl
