Did you try going into the ffdshow settings and checking pvrx2.exe is allowed and mpeg2 is enabled?

I don't know how to configure the codecs.
So far it works with WinTV and Tunning assistant. It started working temporarily after I upgraded my graphics card from a MX2 to a GeForce 420MX, It was accidentally cet to external tuner last time a attempted configuring it and when I changed it to Internal Tuner, I get the black screen again. Any Ideas? How should I adjust each codec? I don't have ffmpeg listed, but I have: NVIDIA Nero MPEG and ffdshow. What should I do?

My problem seems similar to this:
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=40638 I get audio but no video, black screen instead of static? Could it be a bug or am I misconfiguring something?

DVD playback is working w/ video so it doesn't seem like a codec issue...
It seems like its a glitch can someoe verrify this? If not any ideas on how to fix this or download a previous version of GBPVR?

I don't know how important this is: afaik in post nr 11 and 12 Sub and Stustunz are mixing up ffmpeg and ffdshow. Ffmpeg is not a decoder, I think they mean ffdshow should be configured to allow pvrx2 to use it.

No matter what codec I use Cyberlink, Nero, NVidia or ffdshow I only get audio and no video. It doesn't seem to be a codec configuration problem as I can play DVDs and it doesn't seem PVRX2.exe is restricted by any video codecs. What specifically should I change in ffdshow? Should I even bother if Cyberlink's codec yeilds the same results(no video, just audio)?
I'm really confused... what is wrong?

Figured it out.... It's not a codec problem but a render/overlay manager problem
I read: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=37792&page=2 and thought I should change to EVR, I was using VMR9, it fixed the problem. Thanks everyone for the help. I really appreciate it. |
