You might want to replace some of the default XP Sp3 files with versions from the first post in this thread:

Okay now looks ok the scan run to the end and found some channels but 60% of the channels are "unknown" ?? i found somethings over this <BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>25</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds> parameter and change it to 25 but no change ?? maeby some can help me ones more  Thx Scan

yes but without the patch exit to windows ? i think i try now vista and hope its will work better.

I assume we are likely scanning for the same channels (Germany, Astra 0192). I am running XP SP3 with 1.311 and don't have any "unknown" problems. I don't think your problem is OS related.
hi, thx for your answer, witsh hardware you have ?? maybe its a problem with the chipset of the board 780V ??? i have installed vista but the same problem with scanning dvb-s strange thing. maybe i have some problems with the device number ?? if i use 1 for the hauppauge the scan begin and go back to windows if i use the device number 2 the pvr exit direct with an .net error ?? where i can find the device nummbers to dirver. ?

What drivers are you using for the HD-S2? Try downloading the current drivers from hauppauge.de. Just install the drivers, you don't need the WinTV stuff. No need to mess with the device settings. Just leave everything with the default setting (or reset to install state).
okay thats the driver i use the news one from the haupauge page only driver. But i think i have located the problem i will user the pc as server and install only the powerdvd 7 not other codes but i think the previewTV in the scanning app make some problems now i install ffdshow but i think its all the same.
EDIT: Every time on transponder 21 the application close without an error ?? |
