I replaced one of the 150's with a 250.
Reloaded all drivers.
Re-installed gbpvr over old install.

Appears to be working fine on both tuners.
I can record two shows at a time.

So, I plan to run like this for a while.

I did some reading at another site.
It appears several people have had the same problem with dual 150's.

Their fix was to install the 150's and get them both almost working. When recording they both create program folders.

Then remove the audio drivers in the hardware manager.
Reboot, and re-install audio drivers as prompted by windows.

Worth a try.

Steve,

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the fix didn't work for me. Oh well.

I'm having the same problem(s) trying to use two PVR-150 cards. I can get one of the cards to record (sometimes), and the 2nd card always creates the folder of the show I'm trying to record, but there is no mpg file created in the folder.

Has anyone found the solution?

I guess tomorrow I'm going to try to move the cards around physically in the box...

Great news!!! I got the two PVR-150s to work!!!

Basically, I reviewed the posts in this forum, and noticed that MANY people were talking about conflicts in IRQs. Well, I did NOT have a conflict, but the 2nd PVR-150 card was sharing an IRQ with my Promise RAID controller. So I moved the 2nd PVR-150 to a different slot, which allowed it to use an IRQ that was NOT being shared by any other device. Once I did this, the 2nd PVR-150 started recording like a charm!!!

So, here my physical layout in the machine (starting from the AGP Slot).

AGP Slot
PCI Slot 1 - PVR-150 (#1)
PCI Slot 2 - PVR-150 (#2)
PCI Slot 3 - Open
PCI Slot 4 - Open
PCI Slot 5 - Netgear FA311 (NIC)

The PVR-150 in slot #1 shares an IRQ with the Netgear NIC, but this doesn't seem to be an issue.

Also, Sub. I have one thing to say to you. YOU ROCK!!! This latest release of GB-PVR handles the back-to-back recording issue (with the pre/post padding) like a charm. If I schedule show "A" from 08:00am - 08:30am, and show "B" from 08:30am - 09:00am, both w/2min pre/post padding, it schedules show "A" on capture_source 1, and show "B" on capture_source 2 (by looking in the Access DB).

PERFECT!!
