Correct, I: is local and the folder location is correct. I changed the username as you suggested to:

mkdir /etc/mvpmc
mkdir /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.100/dvd /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd -o username=root,rw
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.100/mvpmc /etc/mvpmc -o username=root,rw

Still no luck playing the .dvd file in GBPVR (.dvd file plays OK in PCH native menus). Attached are my logs. Thank you.

Sorry I don't see any attempt to play a dvd. You need to send the rest of your logs.

Note you would need to power off you PCH to redo cgi changes or test them via telnet. Note instead of ,rw ,ro will be fine

Still no luck because you are autostarting 2 MVP servers, you must have two PCH's running. You either need to try and run from the other PCH, or AutoStart only one MVP Server and duplicate the problem.

OK, 1 MVP server running and duplicated the problem. Thanks for your time.

Great (that is your ML3 log problem too) Now what are you sharing as dvd

1. I:\PVR
2. I:\PVR\Videos
3. I:\PVR\Videos\dvd

If it is 3 you will need to telnet to your PCH and tell me what you see when you type

ls /mnt
and
ls /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd

Yes, shared 'dvd' is #3 (I:\PVR\Videos\dvd).

Probably a stupid question, but I see 'telnet' alot in the forum and I'm not sure how to do it. I think I need to open my telnet.html file and I've changed the 'editme' to the appropriate syntax (i think). When I open the telnet.html file I see GB-PVR and telnetd. When I click on either link it doesn't connect. Sorry for my noob-ness.

Telnet is a protocol like http that gives a DOS-like command box from your PCH, on your PC and you will need a client. Windows includes one if you have installed it. From a command prompt type (with the IP of your PCH)

telnet xx.x.xx.xx

If you don't have telnet I recommend installing putty

Thanks for the explaination. This is what I got after telnet:

input 'ls /mnt' result blank

input 'ls /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd' result 'bin/sh: ls/mnt/I:\PVR\Videos\dvd: not found'

That would mean you gbpvr.cgi script is not running (or you have started GBPVR after a reboot)

I copied what you wrote earlier and it works here

Code:
/ # mkdir /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd
/ #
/ # ls /mnt/
I:\PVR\Videos\dvd
/ #
/ #
