Here's the log.

Looks like you have two

CommonGBPVRUtilities
- gbpvr\ v3.0.2847.27302
- gbpvr\plugins\common v3.0.2563.37655

FastFindPlugin
- gbpvr\ v0.50.3357.41349
- gbpvr\plugins\XSuite v0.50.3357.41349

GbpvrUiElements
- gbpvr\ v0.6.5.5
- gbpvr\plugins\common v0.6.1.0

Also, you seem to have older versions of the WizDLLs, you may want to update to newer versions found here.

I deleted the one in common directory after saving it in a zip file.

I did this.

After the above changes, I rebooted. Still got the same error when trying to run CONFIG.

I Have a MediaMVP and PCH A100. I had been having troubles getting the PCH to work. I have had it running in the past. I tried multiple times using NMTInstall to set it up but no luck. The MediaMVP has worked OK. I didn't make any changes to either of these setups (that I can remember) in the past couple days and I have had multiple PC reboots in that time.

Does PVRX2 run successfully on the server?

Can you:
- Run config, and post the log
- Run PVRX2 (on server) and post log

Yes and the plugins work.

The logs are attached. I included all from the time frame when I tried running CONFIG. ALso, the Error Loading Plugin List popup screen cap is below.

I then tried to change to logging level to DEBUG from ERROR and got the UNHANDLED EXCEPTION message. The entire text from that error message is in the attached TXT file.

You didn't ask but, I am able to run PVRX2 via the MediaMVP and use the plugins in it.

Hmm.. I'm at a loss.
  • PVRX2 works on the server
  • PVRX2 works on the MediaMVP
  • Config gets error on start (looks like duplicate entry in hashtable), but does run ('TVRecordings' Key being added: 'TVRecordings').
  • In Config, plugin list is empty
  • Config aborts if you try to set debug level from ERROR to DEBUG.
I'm thinking maybe two DLLs are publishing the same key 'TVRecordings' and this is what is causing the problem.

I think sub will need to comment on this as it appears to be related to how the config program detects and loads the plugins list in config program.

That'd be my guess.

I'd check what other files are in the plugins directory.

This situation has been on my system for a while.

See following thread (starting at message #367) for a discussion. The conclusion seemed to be that it was a benign "problem".

If you remove the TV Listings plugin, does the error go away?

I don't think this is the problem but at this point I will try anything.

Since I can't do that within CONFIG should I just delete the TV Listings sub directory from the plugins directory?
