Odd, your sample played fine for me, maybe try to select the video stream with the higher number audio stream and not the lower on.

Also to confirm I do mean tsremux http://www.videohelp.com/tools/TsRemux and not tsMuxeR

Same as before, won't play.

Anyone else got Windows 7 to try this file on?

I downloaded the file and it played just fine for me on Windows 7. I was using the ffdshow Audio decoder. I switched to 'Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder' to see if it would behave any differently, and found it gave no audio. The 'MPEG Audio Decoder' often doesnt work (though I didnt test it now), so I would suggest trying some other decoder that these two.

Thanks, at least I know the 'Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder' generally doesn't work.

Shame, I was under the impression that Win7 would be the end of "codec hell".

I'd switch immediately if it solved the codec problems!

Did you make the registry change mentioned in the link?
Quote:To use GraphEdit’s “Connect to Remote Graph …” function to connect to PVRX2 and read the graph it currently uses add the following registry setting:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\AddGraphToROT=1 (DWORD)

I'd be interested in whether GraphEdit works on W7, or has troubles.

I use Monogram's GraphStudio instead of GraphEdit but it works. You may need to run as admin if you don't have UAC turned off. As for graphs crashing when you try to open them, that's to be expected. Some parts are created at runtime and don't exist later when you try to open the saved graph.

I used both GE and GS in XP and they worked great. I could attach to a remote graph to see what GBPVR is doing. In Vista, I have UAC off and I can see the remote process with both programs, but neither GE nor GS will successfully attach. They won't attach to GBPVR or to Media Player Classic - Home Cinema (but both can be seen in the Connect to Remote Graph window)I have to check the logs to see what GBPVR is doing. I'm not sure if this is a Vista issue or some config error by me.

Do you have proppage.dll and evrprop.dll? I remember it happening to me and I think that was the cause (that they were missing that is).

That was my problem, and once found and registered, it fixed it. Thanks again!
