I'm not sure if this found its way onto Sub's todo list.
Not sure but it might be similar. It's not clear from that thread whether the problem is the recording or the playback that's an issue. Sub indicates he needs to see the problem in order to fix it, so I assume he thinks it's a recording problem.

My recording is fine. If you use Media Player or VLC in plays without skipping. If I use PVRX2 it skips. This particular recording always skips at the same point which is why I thought it was worth reporting.

I'd like to switch to TS MUX so I can use my Popcorn Hour but the skipping has put that on hold.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Well, as I told you, no need to build it yourself, the version from doom9.org was already compiled.

I thought I gave you the instructions how to cut already, but now a little more verbatim:

1. Start ProjectX
2. Click File->add and load the file you want to cut
3. Click "CutControl" tab (lower left corner)
4. Move the slider and set cut points
5. Click prepare
6. Chose 1:1 binary copy
7. Click the green triangle

That's it. You will find the cut piece in the directory where your original file is.
