Running a pretty basic setup from a share "C:\Program Files\devnz\GBPVR\Third Party\mvpmc". Attaching a rar with all my files in this share, mvpmcx2 file excluded.

That index.html file wherever you got it is not very consistent with gbpvr.cgi

Ok, its a home made solution that has worked well for me so far. I will try again with your original html file tonight, but I think that I tried that already. Will report back.

Is there a point for me to do a new install from scratch? If so what steps is necessary to uninstall, to ensure a clean start?

A new install won't matter, there really was only a change in the binary. What I saw in your working solution is that it runs from a share called gbpvr in the Network browser. Maybe the share name that you set up properly is gpbvr and not the default mvpmc?

Ok, On my PCH, the share is named GBPVR (and not mvpmc) hence that name in the index.htm. Am I better off changing back to mvpmc???

The suggestion to a new install is because Im not really sure what I have changed since doing the original install.

The short answer is yes. NMTInstall only knows about the mvpmc guest share, so the NMT related choices on the third group will always overwrite custom settings if you leave them ticked.

Ok, will try to change back the share name on my PCH to mvpmc and make necesary changes in the index.html. I guess that is all i need to do? You write that i start through Network Browser??? Where do you see that?

Code:
href="http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/GBPVR/gbpvr.cgi">GB-PVR</a>

Thanks,

Sorry I misread it, I was looking for the colon but you also renamed your share on the NMT from the default hostnameConfusedharename to GBPVR which is fine but it also requires customizing the settings.

Hmmm, so, what do I need to do? Am I ok keeping GBPVR or should I still go back do default mvpmc? I am a little lost now Smile

Many thanks for putting up with me....

My recommendation since you are happy with your custom script is to keep everything the same and just update mpvmcx2 There is no reason it shouldn't work. The only think you might consider is removing the -m 1080i from the startmeup file and setting this in the NMT menu. You might even get a better picture if you want to set it up for 50Mhz on the NMT menu.
