Some TS files play and some don't

In GB-PVR's case, its not playing the file because it has a corrupt PMT record. The size field is set to some large garbage value, and never manages to collect that much data. Some other fields are also set to garbage values.

As Martin suggested, you'll probably need to remux the files to fix them. Remuxer utilities typically recreate the PAT and PMT tables.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have a large number of these files, is there any way to remux all of them in some sort of automated process(one after another) instead of one at a time?

I know that TS4NP and TSRemux will work from a command line ie:

TS4NP infile.tst outfile.ts

so a semi-automated solution is possible
