I never get channel (from which it is recorded), nor do I get show description when using vidimport.

Why not use a little SQL magic to change where the database thinks the files are:

UPDATE RECORDING_SCHEDULE SET filename = REPLACE(filename, "E:\MyPVR", "D:\My Recordings") WHERE filename LIKE "E:\MyPVR%";

Run that once, and everything should be updated (I would perform this first on a copy of my db to make sure everything was changed correctly).
