Change recording directory

I'v used OrakelJos method myself and it works safely. Vidimport works too but you'll lose some information that is preserved by exporting, moving and importing recordings. That said, the simple archiver works too and is an easy way to move recordings from one folder to another.

I never get channel (from which it is recorded), nor do I get show description when using vidimport.

Why not use a little SQL magic to change where the database thinks the files are:

UPDATE RECORDING_SCHEDULE SET filename = REPLACE(filename, "E:\MyPVR", "D:\My Recordings") WHERE filename LIKE "E:\MyPVR%";

Run that once, and everything should be updated (I would perform this first on a copy of my db to make sure everything was changed correctly).
