It would be very kindly. Thank you in advise for this. Wink

Btw., the automountfeature of Daemon Tools has nothing to do with our problem. It just tell's daemon tools to mount the used image after a reboot again (and not to let it unmount after reboot).

*added a new bug*

ShiningDragon Wrote:This is NOT the way, it should be.
The "normal" way to playback isos is:

Start nPVR
Choose "Videos"
Select any iso you want to watch
nPVR SHOULD give the iso to daemontools for mounting

I absolutely agree with you. Manually mounting the image makes no sense really. We'll have to wait and see what Sub has to say. If it is a feature to come or wish for, or in fact a bug.

Tried it again today on my client pc, this time playback started almost instant. The funny thing, which you can see in the atteched screenshot, is that DAEMON tools has no image mounted! Still it works....

EDIT: I also tried it on my testrig without Daemon tools installed, and it plays ISO's there too, but menu selection don't work. Both these computers run W7x64.

Thank you, Reddwarf, for your effort! I am not sure, but it seems, that daemon tools is doing just "nothing" on your machine (of course i could be wrong), but there is absolutely no daemon tools entry in your logfile (i am pretty sure, that sub would add information like mounting into this). Just to be sure, if you uninstall daemon tools completely, can you plackback iso though? It looks like, that your decoders are taking part of opening and playback isos, not daemon tools.

I can show you my logfiles while trying to play back isos:
Code:

Like you can see, here happens nothing. No Demultiplexer, no videodecoder (although it should run at least with the Microsoft DTV one). Something is blocking, i can see (and hear -> hdd access) that nPVR is trying(!) to open the iso (local and lan), but it stops mounting the iso.

Here is your logfile (i removed uninteresting info):

You see? I can not see anything like "mounting Kelterne.iso" or something like this, as in GB-PVR was logged. But anyway, your logfile and screenshot is a little helpful for me. I will try just a little more around. Perhaps sub has ffdshow installed too, let the isos open and decode from ffdshow and thought, that the daemontoolsplugin is working. Big Grin

Btw., i am using V-Sync at 60 Hz... frame Render Rate =86,..... ? oO

Small note:

Code:
2010-10-19 11:02:08.436    [DEBUG][1]     - Elecard MPEG Demultiplexer

Why? There should be DVD navigator, not demultiplexer.

Agreed, my testing was worthless, on W7 Ultimate (and perhaps oyher W7) I can even open the .iso file in Windows Mediaplayer and it plays the menupage Wink
And in the second test I tried it on a computer without Daemontools, same thing happened.

That is, yesterday I didn't actually play the video, just saw that the menu appared and beleived everything eas ok.

Hey sub, welcome back at home. =)

I added the following "bug" into the startpost (don't want to create a new thread for every found bug):

Quote:- WRONG CHANNELASSIGNMENT FOR ANALOG CABLE IN GERMANY
Because my provider "Kabel Deutschland" changed the frequencies for a lot of stations, i decided to built the new channeldatabase completely new. I deleted the frequencies overrride settings in the registry and rebooted the server.
Ok, nPVR is short of tuning capabilities, so i installed WinTV 7.x and made a complete channelscan (germany, analog, cable). I wrote down the stations and channelnumbers and transferred them into the nPVR database. But... nPVR didn't tune properly (i really selected germany cable or antenna) with this channels. There are exactly 4 offsets compared to WinTV: channels +15, +6, +2 and -15 compared to the channels of nPVR. I made an excelsheet, which i will upload and attach later for you to viewing. It was a dirty "trial and error" setup of the channels. ^^
Attached file is now available at startpost.

What do you mean? What is this offset number? I looked at your PDF but it didnt clarify things for me.

NPVR doesnt know the channel numbers for analog channel, you need to enter them. ie, the channels will always be wrong initially until you enter the correct channel numbers.
