NPVR - Black screen and no sound on live view

So the QuickTV app (or whatever it's called) works?

Do you have your app set to "Other - ATSC/QAM" in the HDHR setup?

Wow. That's really odd. Could you try temporarily disabling your firewall (entirely) or perhaps installing the HDHR utility on another machine and see if it works there?

here i am
installed NPVR on a Windows 7 pro system.
Dissabled the firewall completely.
Same old problem - great EPG population, 43 channels, but no picture just black screen when playing live video.
I found out that while playing live video, if i go to c:\Temp and open the file with VLC, the video is playing perfectly.
Any idea what can this be???

Can you post some screenshots of the "Device" and "Channel" screens from your configuration? "Decoders" would help too. Just so I can see exactly how you're configured.

Also - does the VLC preview via the HDHR utility work on the new system you tried?

I installed the CCCP codecs and still the same.
Suddenly i changed the .avi decoder to ATI MPEG and.H26 to MS DTV-DVD and started working.
Didn't work previously, i don't know if CCCP did the trick or not.
Quick view works also now, while VLC freezes the system.
I guess that NPVR so far works with hickups on win 7.
I will send the requested logs (can't find the SAF5) and captures as soon the system comes back.

Apart from codecs, CCCP also installs Hali Media Splitter, that may be one point...
