Can you guys apply these patches http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post431370 and post the logs when it happens again.

I've added some logging to allow me to better track what is happening with recordings.

I've applied the patches. I've encountered the problem twice over the past week, so I will probably have some useful logs within a few days.

I was able to reproduce it with American Idol. Vistaview is still recording past the end time.

Do you have that channel mapped on the capture source with oid 1531?

It looks like it failed to start the original recording with the 'invalid channel mapping supplied' error shown above, then looked for an alternative capture source, and started it on both it found. When it started it on the second of those, it lost track of the first one it'd already started.

The attached patch should correct it.

I've not had this problem since I first reported it last week. I've applied the digitalhost patch but should I apply the NShared patch or wait to see if it resurfaces first?

Sorry sub... Went back to watching a show.

It was originally mapped on that capture source but I removed that channel from that capture source about 10 minutes before recordings started. (That was how I caused the problem yesterday.)

Sounds about right. I'll run another test with this patch tomorrow.

Just like a week ago, I still have a recording going that should have ended more than an hour ago.
Logs attached.
I did not apply the Nshared patch until just now so I may have to wait another week to find out if this happens again.

That patch will fix it.
