nah the gfx card has a little svideo type adapter (its no svideo but same size and shape) on that adapter it has rgb, svideo, and composite. it also has a vga and dvi output on the card.

Oh ok, so I don't use the DVI output, just the RGB output.

yup.

im using rgb output, my tv doesnt have dvi input.

im not sure, if you want hdtv, you can either get a newish geforce card, which comes with the hdtv adapter, or you could get any of the 9x00 series of ati and buy the hdtv adapter.

the 6600 is pretty cheap, and good for games and stuff.

Another problem is that my power supply is onlt 250W. I read that the 6600 wants a 300W or more. So I might have to upgrade that too.

250W, yeah thats low, never really thought about it, i got 450W or something.

Does your TV support RGB/S, RGBHV, or VGA inputs? What model of TV do you have? You may not need to buy anything more than an adapter....
